Icicle Snowmen Ornaments

Materials:
 Worsted weight yarn in white, black, and other colors
 Size F hook
 Black fabric paint

Head and body:
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st, join (12)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc, join (12)
Rnd 4: Repeat rnd 3.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc 2 tog around, join (6)
Stuff
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc 2 tog around, join (3)
Rnd 7: Ch 1, draw up a loop in next 2 sts, yo and pull through all 3 loops.
DO NOT FASTEN OFF.
Ch 20, turn, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc in each chain, sl st in st across from beginning of ch.
Fasten off.
Weave in ends.
Using black fabric paint, paint dots on head to make face (to look like coal).

Hat:
With black,
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch, join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st, join (12)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each sc, join
Rnd 4: Ch 1, working in both loops, sc in each sc, join.
Rnd 5: Repeat Rnd 4
Rnd 6: Ch 1, working in front loop, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next)around, join (18)
Fasten off.
Tack Hat to top of head.

Earmuffs:
With color of choice:
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 7 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join
Rnd 2: Ch 8, 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook, skip ch, 3 sc in other side of 2nd ch from hook, join to first sc.
Fasten off.
Tack to both sides of head.

Scarf:
With color of  choice:
Ch 27, dc in 3rd ch from hook and each ch across, end off.
Cut 6  4” pieces of same color yarn, fold over & pull through ends to form fringe. Trim.
Tie around neck of snowman.

Make a long hanger out of nylon thread or gold cord and attach to top of snowman to hang on tree.
